GUIDELINES

There is a 100 kg weight limit and children under 18 years of age require parental permission (to be signed on site). You must be over 12 years of age to do this activity. No prior experience is necessary.

WEATHER

Gliding is weather dependant and operations may be cancelled or curtailed if the conditions are unsuitable. It is therefore essential that you call the club on 0412 145 144 between 9 and 9.30 am on the day of your flight to confirm the weather conditions are suitable and that we are operating. Please be aware that the conditions often vary significantly between Sydney city and Camden, usually to our advantage.

VENUE

We operate from Camden Airport - approximately fifty kilometres south west of the city centre.

NUMBERS

Your briefing and flight will be one-on-one with an instructor, however spectators are welcome and there will be club members and other passengers on the airfield at the same time particularly on days with good weather.

EXTRA INFORMATION

All our aircraft are maintained to the highest standards and we pride ourselves on forty years of safe flying. Our pilots are fully qualified instructors or charter pilots and we are accredited with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and the Gliding Federation of Australia (GFA). Gliding, as with all forms of flying has inherent dangers and you will be required to sign a waiver prior to flying.
